Library Facilities The Technology Center in the Library has 30 computer stations. The Archival Center has special termperature/humidity controls, display areas and three research computer stations; The Library has 28 other computers stations designated for research. There are computers in teh Technology Center and Library that are designed for visually impaired students. The library houses a separate Children's Collection, Faculty Development Center and small grouplearning areas in addition to the following: data ports for lap-top interface; presentation system adn tele-video conferencing features. The systesm allow for the transfer of video, keyboard and mouse signals to or from any computer on the system, has two hidden projection screens and is designed for large screen display of ttransparencies, hard copies adn 3D objects, DVD, CD and VHA presentations, cable television adn video projections; the Conference Center has a hidden electronic projection screen with an audiovisual system that is capable of graphics display, 35MM slide presentations, audiotape, DVD, CD and VHS presentations. The Music lab features a hidden, electronic projection screen in a classroom setting with a digital, surround sound system, computer graphics display capability, video tape, DVD, CD, phonograph player, cable television, audiotape and auxiliary input and an electronic piano as a teaching aid. The two Multi-Media Student Listening Rooms have desktop multimedia equipment for VHS tape, DVD/CD playback and electronic keyboards for composition and playback; six monitors in teh multimedia listening area have assigned media channels for audio, DVE,CD, phonographic functions simultaneously and cable television capability. The Teacher Education Lab has 15 computers with a hidden electronic projection screen, a 35MM slide projector with remote control, video projection adnintgegrated teaching station with laptop and desktop input adn VHS/DVD/CD playback.
