| Library Facilities |
The College of Saint Rose offers full-text online access to many of our journal holdings. The Curriculum Library, located on the second floor of the new Thelma P. Lally School of Education, includes a wide variety of materials intended to support the course work of the School of Education, including textbooks for grades kindergarten through twelve, educational games and kits, New York State publications, samples of standardized tests, and a selection of teacher guides. |
| Museums |
The College Art Gallery presents contemporary images and ideas through exhibitions and programs in the fine arts and design desciplines. The gallery provides curriculum support within the art department and it serves as a window into the college as an important cultural resource for New York's Capital Region. Each academic year, professional artists at various career levels present exhibitions, slide lectures, panel discussions, meet with calsses and provide individual critiques. Special receptions also provide opportunities for discourse between artists, faculty, students and members of the community. Visiting artists include Nancy Spero, Leon Golub, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Willy Birch, Robert Longo, George Tcherny, Duane Michals, Elizabeth Murray, Judy Pfaff, Paul Davis and Jenny Holzer, Eve Andree Laramee, James O. Clark and Joan Jonas. |
